Still married after all this time

It's been 1 month and 2 days since we got married, and I'm pleased to say that it's going very well. No major fallings out, no unreconileable differences, and I've even put Clare's rent up (with her agreement of course)

We've sorted out lots of the photo's so if there are any that you want then let us know and we'll print some more off. We're sending some off with the thank you cards, but if there are any others you send us an email.

If you have any photos please feel free to share them with us, I've really enjoyed going over them, and reminising. It was great to see everyone, and I know that we both really enjoyed ourselves.

In case you're wondering, Tom completed the london marathon in 5 hours 18 minutes, and raised over £2,000 for the samaritans.

Where we honeymooned

This is short film of the cottage where we stayed on our honeymoon. We were actually at the front bit, but I thought'd I'd use the video option on my new digital camera to film the rest, and get a bit of the view.

Looking back I should probably have concentrated on the views because they were wonderful, but this is my first foray into film making and I will give it more thought in the future.

Be warned that the quality is poor at the beginning but gets better (marginally) later on. The music is a bit cliched but is better than silence.



As I said we stayed at the front bit, the rest is another holiday home, but the 2 can be hired out together and can apparently sleep about 12. Our bit comprised of a kitchen/diner/lounge with fireplace, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom. More than enough for the 2 of us.

I've just figured out how to use Flickr, the website where you can share photos and I've put a few on there and I'll spend some more time over the Easter weekend going through all the photos.

If you were at the wedding, and have any digital photo's that you'd like to share either email them to me, or perhaps you could join Flickr too. I had a bit of trouble setting things up but seem to be there now.

All Said and Done

Well, it happened, and here's a picture of our first dance to sort of prove it.

When I get a chance I'll put more pictures out there, but thought that you might like to see at least one picture.

The first dance was to Sarah McLachlan's song "Push" if you're interested.

Almost there

I'm sat at home, just about packed up, wondering what it is that I've forgotten.

I'm travelling up to Shropshire this afternoon so this will probably be the last post before the wedding.

For all of you coming, I'll see you on Saturday, for everybody else, thanks for the cards and gifts.

Once we have the pictures we'll post some of them here and on the official website. I'll then think about continuing the whole blog thing, it's lots of fun, but I'd have to see what's on the horizon to make it interesting. Obviously, any future posts here will have to be under the user name of just Groom, rather Groom2b
